BSF is the primary border guarding force of India established on 1 December 1965. It is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces by the Union of India. BSF under Union Government and administrative control of the Ministry of Homa Affairs.
BSF has been termed as the First Line of Defence of Indian Territories. It is one of many law enforcement agency of India. It currently stands as the world’s largest border guarding force. At present, BSF has 257,363 Active Personnel in their organization.

Head Constable (Radio Operator) :
- 12th Pass with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics OR
- 10th Pass with ITI in Radio and Television / Electronics / Computer Operator & Programming Assistant / Data Preparation & Computer Software / General Electronics / Data Entry Operator
Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) :
- 12th Pass with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics OR
- 10th Pass with ITI in Radio and Television / Computer Operator & Programming Assistant / Data Preparation & Computer Software / General Electronics / Electrician / Fitter / Information Technology & Electronics System Maintenance / Comn Equipment Maintenance / Computer Hardware / Network Technician / Mechatronics / Data Entry Operator
Age Limit (as on 19-09-2022) :-
- Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
- Maximum Age Limit: 25 Years
- Age Relaxation is Applicable as per Rules.
