Organization Name :- Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd

The primary objective of the GRSE is to provide a solution to the needs shipbuilding requirement of the Indian Coast and Indian Navy. It was incorporated in 1934 under the government of India.

It has 3 facilities of units, While the first unit for shipbuilding located in Kolkata, second unit for built ship located in Rajabagan Dockyard and third unit for fitting and repair section.

• Trade Apprentices
• Technician Apprentices

Job Location :- Kolkata/Ranchi

Stipend :-

• Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 15,000/- pm
• Technician Apprentice: Rs. 10,000/- pm
• Trade Apprentice (Fresher): Rs. 6,000 – 6,600/- pm
• Trade Apprentice (Ex-ITI): Rs. 7,000 – 7,700/- pm

Qualification :-

Trade Apprentice (Fresher) :

• ITI in Fitter, Welder (Gas & Electric), Electrician, Pipe Fitter, Machinist

Trade Apprentice (Ex-ITI) :

• ITI in Electrician/Fitter/Painter General Welder (Gas & Electric)/Machinist/ Plumber/ Carpenter/Draughtsman (Mechanical)/ (COPA)/Electronics Mechanic/ Mechanic (Diesel) /Fitter/Secretarial Practice (English) / Secretarial Assistant (English) /Mechanic Machine Tool/ Maintenance (MMTM) /Information & Communication Technology System/Maintenance (ICTSM) /Refrigeration and Air conditioning Mechanic

Technician Apprentice :

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronics & Communication/Civil Engineering

Graduate Apprentice : 

• Graduate in Mechanical/Electrical/ Computer Science & Information Technology/Civil Engineering

Total Vacancies :-

• Technician Apprentice: 47 Posts
• Trade Apprentice (Fresher): 40 Posts
• Trade Apprentice (Ex-ITI): 134 Posts
